Over 5,000 years ago, ancient builders quarried and moved megaliths weighing up to 10 tonnes to craft monuments that predate the Pyramids. At Mnajdra, they achieved an extraordinary feat: engineering the temple as a giant solar calendar aligned with the solstices (the longest and shortest days of the year) and equinoxes (when day and night are in perfect balance).
