In this second part of our Valletta tour, we explore both the grandeur and the hidden soul of the city. We begin at the Auberge de Castille, once home to the powerful Knights of Castile and now the Prime Minister’s office—an enduring symbol of authority and elegance.
From there, we step into the Upper Barrakka Gardens, offering panoramic views of the Grand Harbour and the historic Three Cities. Once reserved for the Knights, today it stands as one of Valletta’s most iconic and peaceful spots.
We then leave the familiar behind, following Saint Ursula Street into the quieter, lesser-known quarters of Valletta. This descent reveals a different side of the capital—intimate alleys, noble facades, and hidden courtyards that speak of daily life through the centuries.
As we reach lower Valletta, the atmosphere shifts. The pace slows, the streets narrow, and the city shows us its most authentic self—far from the crowds, yet full of stories waiting to be told.
Join us for the second part of this tour on Friday 1st August. We'll meet near the Castille Square fountain at 7pm.
