For our second Calypso Talks discussion, we invite you on a unique journey inside the world of the cloistered nuns at Saint Ursula Convent in Valletta, where we will meet the nun who leads this sacred community.
The Sisters of St. Ursula bear the cross of the Knights of St. John, and they are among the last remaining representatives of the Order of St. John in our country.
Are they truly not allowed to leave the convent?
What does their daily life look like?
How many cloistered nuns are left in Malta?
Date & Time: Sunday, 16th March at 9:30 AM
Location: St. Ursula Convent, Valletta
The event will start with a historical introduction by Glorianne Mizzi, followed by an exclusive interview with the Mother Superior. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask their questions. To conclude, we will enjoy a coffee break inside the convent.
